Professional coaching helps you gain perspective, explore possibilities and choose actions connected to a goal. You take an active role. This worksheet prepares a discussion; it does not replace the coaching framework to be agreed with the practitioner.
1. Start with a specific situation
Describe what brings you here: a decision, a priority to clarify or a way of working together that you want to change. You do not need to have found the solution already.
2. Picture an observable change
What would be different if you moved forward? You might make a decision, try an action or express a shared goal more clearly. Look for a sign you can examine.
3. Clarify the kind of support you need
Coaching works on a situation and your choices. Training helps you develop a skill. The approaches can complement each other; describe your need so you can discuss them before choosing.

Your turn: prepare your worksheet.
A few sentences are enough. You can leave a point to clarify in the initial discussion. Do not enter confidential information.
Your text stays on this page and is not saved. Copy your worksheet or save it as a PDF before leaving.
Your next step.
If your main need is to learn a method or tool, explore training as well. The initial discussion helps clarify the appropriate approach.
